Camilo Trucking of Tampa, Inc. ("Camilo Trucking," "we," "us") is a motor carrier based in Tampa, Florida. This policy explains what personal information we collect through camilotrucking.us and in the course of hauling freight, how we use it, and your choices.
Information we collect
- Contact and business details: name, company, email, phone, and the shipment information you provide in forms, calls, or emails.
- Shipment records: bills of lading, rate confirmations, proofs of delivery, seal numbers, photos of freight and paperwork, and delivery contacts.
- Billing records: invoices, payment history, and remittance details.
- Job applicant information: details you send when applying to drive or work with us, which we handle as required for driver qualification under federal regulations.
- Technical data: basic server logs such as IP address and browser type, used for security.
We do not use advertising trackers on this website.
How we use it
- To quote, schedule, haul, and invoice freight;
- To send pickup, transit, and delivery updates;
- To handle claims, complaints, and disputes;
- To evaluate job applicants and meet driver qualification requirements;
- To meet legal, tax, insurance, and regulatory obligations.
Sharing
We don't sell personal information. We share it only as needed with: shippers, consignees, and brokers involved in a load; terminals and steamship lines for drayage moves; our insurers in the event of a claim; payment processors and factoring companies; service providers such as our email host; and government authorities where required by law.
Retention
We keep shipping and billing records for as long as required by tax, insurance, and transportation regulations, generally up to seven years. Website inquiries that don't lead to business are deleted within 24 months.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. Please don't send bank account numbers or other sensitive financial details through the contact form.
Your choices
You can ask to access, correct, or delete your personal information by emailing support@camilotrucking.us. We'll respond within 30 days. Some records must be kept for legal reasons.
Children
Our services are for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy and will change the effective date when we do.
