Our cold-chain routine

Temperature problems usually start at the dock, not on the highway. These steps happen on every reefer load.

  1. 01Trailer washed out and pre-cooled to setpoint before arrival
  2. 02Setpoint and mode (continuous or cycle) confirmed against the BOL
  3. 03Pulp temperatures noted at loading when the shipper allows
  4. 04Unit checked at every stop; fuel kept topped up
  5. 05Temperature readings shared on request after delivery

Reefer FAQ

Can a reefer cool down warm product?

No — reefer units are designed to hold temperature, not pull it down. Product should be loaded at the required temperature.

Do you run mixed-temperature loads?

Not currently. Each trailer runs at a single setpoint.

What about strawberry season?

Winter is our busiest reefer stretch. Shippers who book weekly capacity before the season get priority.
